Create a Print Style Sheet for WordPress

There’s nothing more annoying than trying to print a webpage and getting everything that appears on the page – including the header, the sidebars and footers – along with the actual text that you wanted. The problem is that there is no style sheet defined for printing.

WordPress, the popular blogging system, is very popular both at GalaxyVisions and by our Internet hosting customers. The site wphacks.com recently posted a tutorial on setting up a style sheet specifically for printing out items on a WordPress site.

Here are the steps:

1.       Create a print.css page.

2.       Tell it not to print elements such as the header, sidebar and footer

3.       Tell it to print the content in an acceptably large font and point size.
