A new zero-day security vulnerability has been found in all versions of Internet Explorer. It was addressed in a recent patch from Microsoft, but the next one may be around the corner. Here are a few steps for ensuring you’re prepared:

1.       Enable Windows’ automatic updates

2.       Upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer

3.       Run Internet Explorer in protected mode and with a high security level

4.       Avoid Internet Explorer in the first place
