Microsoft has spent millions of dollars to make Word the most efficient word processor on the market. But many of those features aren’t made obvious to users. As a result, IT experts like GalaxyVisions’ Web hosting customers, may not be using the program to its fullest potential.
Sure, anyone can type a document into Word and print it or email it to its intended audience. What’s not being leveraged is Word’s ability to make writing and editing more efficient. For example, you can hop among all the edits simply by hitting Shift + F5. Or you can cycle through open document windows by hitting Shift + F6. Need to quickly reorder a list? You can cut items out one by one by hitting Ctrl + F3 and then paste everything you’ve cut into the document, in order, by hitting Shift + Ctrl + F3.
